New Orleans Cabbie Kills Attacker
Picked him up in the French quarter, dropped him off
in Hell.

is out and about, the police took his gun.
Can a few of our many law enforcement subscribers please
explain how this could be? Does this mean that if I
must use my weapon in self-defense it will also be

Protesters Want Guns, Boycott to Fight NYPD
NEW YORK (AP)
"Black activists vow to fight police killings of unarmed
men with what they call their best weapons: an economic
boycott and keeping their own arms.
" 'Every home in our community must have a shotgun. Not an
illegal one -- a legal one,' said Omawale Klay, a leader
of Brooklyn's Haitian community."

Ruger Finally Says They Won't Sign Extortion Papers
"Please be assured that we are not negotiating with mayors
or those who seek to eradicate our rights," said Stephen
Sanetti, the Strum, Ruger's vice president and general
counsel. "We can't speak for other manufacturers, but we
remain confident that these lawsuits are completely
unsupportable, both legally and factually. We will continue
to fight them in every practical way."
Sanetti said his company, which employs more than 1,200
workers, has met with gun control advocates. Sanetti
characterized their proposals as "completely unacceptable,"
and added, "I can assure you that these attacks on our
constitutional rights are being met with the firmest resolve.
The law and truth are both on our side and those shall prevail."

Plane in Flight Grounded Due to Gun on Board
In the air from NY to FL, someone finds a gun in the
bathroom. The plane is diverted to Norfolk where each
passenger is questioned by the FBI.
Why not just unload it? We live in a society where
chances are good nobody on the plane knew how.

clinton Hails Maryland Vote Against American Freedom
"Maryland joins a growing number of states across the
country that are taking actions to make guns safer and
to keep guns out of the wrong hands," Clinton said in a
statement.
The "wrong hands" who now cannot get countless weapons
available to most of the rest of the nation (and any
old criminal who wants them) include hundreds of
thousands of very angry peaceable (for the moment) gun
owners.

Some weeks ago, a newspaper in Colorado published the
names of all holders of concealed carry permits in
Ft. Collins, Colorado.
We have had numerous requests and even offers of money
if we will publish private contact info for the criminals
in office who work to destroy the Constitution.
Locating such information is no easy task, let me tell
you. These people are good at hiding.
However, we are elated at the prospect of publishing
such information and feel certain our resourceful
readers can obtain personal addresses and phone
numbers of the Public SERVANTS agressively defiling
our nation's charter.
Provide us accurate information, and we will publish
it with a smile. Phone numbers and addresses of
Constitution Killers should be public information,
and we intend to see that it is.

See if you can draft a letter around the following text and
get the Statesman to print it. Austin has been known for being
a fairly free place, but liberalism (Statism) is spreading like
cancer, and their paper might be infected:
Many documented statements by anti-gun groups and misguided
individuals claim that the Second Amendment refers to the
power of the States to keep and bear arms. In other sections
of the Constitution, we find the following: "the right of the
PEOPLE to peaceably assemble," the "right of the PEOPLE to
be secure in their homes," "enumeration here of certain rights
shall not be construed to disparage others retained by the
PEOPLE," and "the powers not delegated herein are reserved
to the states respectively, and to the PEOPLE." Do you honestly
believe "the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms" refers
to the States but excludes Individuals?

A few posted "lyrics" mentioned on this page refer to a
popular CD now which describes killing a teacher and cutting
off her tongue, killing a hitch hiker after having sex
with her, cutting throats, etc.
But it's the guns' faults. No, really.

Ignorant Quote of the Day Award
"Some gun-control experts now believe Maryland's requirement
of built-in locks and the potential for smart-gun controls
make it likely that safer guns will emerge as more effective
safety innovations become standard."
This is ignorant for two major reasons and several more, at
least. ONE: the words "gun-control" and "expert"
cannot be
used in the same sentence, unless of course you're talking
about being expert in following in Hitler's footsteps. TWO:
the notion of making guns safer is as asinine as making cars
harder to drive--guns are made to defend self, family, others,
country, and Liberty Itself--and they should be made as effective
as possible at doing the job. A "smart gun" would be one that
would stun a criminal long enough to get him to the gallows to
be made an example of.
