Nazi
Firearms Law and the Disarming of the German Jews
Stephen
P. Halbrook 17
Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law,
No. 3, 483-535 (2000). ...We are in danger of
forgetting that the Bill of Rights reflects experience
with police excesses. It is not only under Nazi rule that
police excesses are inimical to freedom. It is easy to
make light of insistence on scrupulous regard for the
safeguards of civil liberties when invoked on behalf of
the unworthy. It is too easy. History bears testimony that
by such disregard are the rights of liberty extinguished,
heedlessly at first, then stealthily, and brazenly in the
end.

achieve big win on Capitol Hill
"Earlier this week
we asked for your help in killing a proposal contained in The
Presidential Threat Protection Act (HR 3048) that would have given
police broad new powers to issue "administrative
subpoenas." Almost immediately, Capitol Hill offices were
flooded with thousands of angry phone calls from privacy advocates

provisions were gutted from the bill.

passed, but without giving the government new power to subpoena

Politics divide conservation, hunting groups - Story
- read this "article" and see why we are loosing our
rights! An Irrelevant discussion about hunting, sport
and whether a conservationist is a hunter or non-hunter.
Dribble! Toy time guys and gals - after the legal battles on such a
"basis" turn em in and melt them
down. Let's get REAL: "...the sad reality
is that "gun owners" are not doing their job very well
.... It is boasted that we have 80 plus million guns
owners in the USA. So what! What are they doing?
Where are they? Many are lazy and don't care about freedom
to begin with. Maybe they are a lost cause. Still others view
the Second Amendment as being there to "protect" their
"sport" or "hunting" activities.
We need a wake up call. A primary purpose behind the Second
Amendment is to act as a final bulwark and safeguard against
government tyranny and oppression, when all else has failed.
Thus, although numerically "counted" as a gun owners,
the reality is that the "sport / hunting philosophy"
serves to undermine the foundational safeguard of our
Constitutional Republic and the Bill of Rights. The
philosophy is nothing less than an attempt at "political
correctness". It is pushed by organizations because it fits
nicely into the current Collective Mind Think - "Thou Shall
Not Offend". However, it serves the enemies of
Freedom and Liberty by trivializing the subject which is central
to the 2nd Amendment. Thus, instead of the debate being directed
at the potentially deadly force of government tyranny and
oppression, the subject is deflected, focusing upon the
"reasonableness" of laws dealing with deadly
instruments which are used "merely" for sport or
hunting. ... READ: The
meaning of - "shall not be infringed".

No apparent defense capability to stop killing. Luckily the

killing can be executed at leisure, is not a complete

Applauds N. Korea's Show of Force
Secretary of State
Madeleine Albright attends a massive military parade celebrating
North Korea's communist dictatorship - and claps. ... At
one point, thousands of schoolchildren paid homage to North
Korea's nuclear program by joining together in the shape of
atoms. Between 17,000 and 25,000 students in the arena's
bleachers flipped picture cards to create the image of a North
Korean rocket launch ... In a scene called "We will support
our powerful nation with rifle," students in camouflaged
army uniforms performed martial arts exercises and mock
gunfights. As they performed their routine, the boys shouted,
"Let us save our great leader at the cost of our
lives."

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Torture, rape, summary executions,
anti-intellectualism and a general suffocating grip on all parts
of society mark Myanmar's military government, according to a
U.N. human rights report circulated on Monday. Questions
for readers:
In the USA, how would the 2nd Amendment apply? How many
Americans do you think understand this? How many even give a damn?
